Frequently Asked Questions

How long does treatment last?
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is 12 weeks although treatment length may vary based on a client’s individualized treatment plan. Upon completion of IOP, clients have the opportunity to continue programming at our outpatient (OP) level of care.
How many hours of programming will I receive each week?
Clients will have access to structured group therapy for 3 hours at a minimum of 3-5 days per week. Our customized treatment approach also includes weekly individual therapy for 1 hour and psychiatric oversight ranging from 30-60 minutes as needed.
Can your facility prescribe medication?
Psychiatric oversight is built-in to each client’s personalized treatment plan. Our Medical Director completes an initial psychiatric evaluation to determine the need for medication intervention and/or maintenance. Prescribed medications for mental health diagnoses or assistive medication such as Naltrexone can be continued by our provider.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we work with most insurance providers and offer private pay options. Our admissions team can provide more accurate details on your coverage; call us at (480) 618-4791
What types of therapy do you use with clients?
We utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Equine-Assisted Therapy and other integrative therapeutic practices.
Is it possible to maintain my work or school obligations while attending your program?
Yes. Our program schedule may be customized to help support each client’s life/recovery balance. We understand individuals may have outside responsibilities; therefore we offer a variety of therapeutic groups and times. Additionally, Rising Phoenix has developed more specific programs to support young adults and professionals.
