Courtney Portillo, MSW

When Courtney was 20 years old, she had a personal experience with family counseling. This involvement allowed her to visit various dynamics within family systems that may potentially lead to issues later in life. She immediately found herself fascinated and consequently dedicated herself to pursue a career in mental health. Courtney completed her bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Arizona. Upon her return to the valley, she joined Rising Phoenix as a volunteer and was soon promoted to the Operations Manager while completing her Master’s in Social Work at ASU. Following her May graduation, Courtney is studying for her LMSW exam while continuing to aide in admissions and clinical projects for RPWS.
