Erin Stanfield, LCSW

Erin has extensive experience in treating mental health conditions, substance use disorders, process disorders, and co-occurring disorders. She has been in practice for the past 15 years. Erin received her bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy from Indiana University in 1999. Erin initially treated patients with traumatic brain injuries in a rehabilitation hospital setting then transitioned into the hospitality industry and oversaw recreational programs. In 2004, Erin realized she wanted to pursue higher education and received her master’s degree in social work from Arizona State University in 2006. Upon graduation, she worked for several years treating those seeking recovery from gambling addictions. Erin continued to work in a variety of clinical settings including an inpatient psychiatric unit. Throughout her career, Erin has been aware of the need for trauma informed care. In each encounter throughout her career, many clients have presented with significant trauma histories. In 2020 she became trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She is also a certified yoga teacher and received her Yoga-CBT certificate in 2017. Erin seeks to provide a warm and caring environment in which clients feel safe, understood, and accepted. Erin has also been devoted to helping educate those seeking social work careers. She is a field instructor for Arizona State University’s MSW program. Further, she is trained to provide clinical supervision to those pursuing independent practice.
